Legendary DJ and producer Honey Dijon brings the Honeyverse on the Southbank Middle later this 12 months, with two reside music nights and arranged membership nights impressed by Honey’s roots within the black and queer group. From Saturday September 9, Honey might be on the Royal Competition Corridor with a reside DJ set of her personal songs and favourite tracks remixed reside with the Radiant Child Orchestra. Later within the night, on the Queen Elizabeth Corridor Lobby, Hoeny will headline a membership night time after DJ Aqwea and Kampire (of the Nyege Nyege collective) take the stage.
Then, the next weekend, multidisciplinary singers Alewya and Muffins da killa will carry out reside at Queen Elizabeth Corridor. In the meantime, Honey might be within the Purcell Room for a particular panel dialogue on music, trend and tradition. And the Honeyverse will bid farewell with one other membership night time within the Queen Elizabeth Corridor Lobby with Honey, Pink Pig Flower and Gayance on the decks.
